Dynamic girls grow into empowered women!
We’ve welcomed 19 students to the Illinois Council on Women and Girls. Their work on the Girls Committee will impact policies and programs that affect women and girls statewide.

Our ninth male athlete of the year finalist is Kewanee's Niko Powe (@niko_powejr). Three-sport standout was all-state in basketball (had 50 points in a game this winter), first team all-conference in football and conference champion in 110 hurdles and 800 last spring.
