Heard this and love it. “The gospel in 4 words…
Jesus in my place
3 words…
Him for me
2 words…
Substitutionary Atonement
1 word…
Grace”
Loved this from
@JimmyNeedham this week...
Doubting God leads to our attempt to distance ourselves from God which leads to deeper descent in to darkness.

Great article that helps answer the question “what can I do during these sad and difficult times?”
The biblical narrative affirms both human dignity and the active pursuit of justice. Yet, the death of George Floyd continues to demonstrate systemic injustice.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 5:6-8

Nothing I did made you love me. Not my effort, my might, or my cleaning up. But It's your Grace that you give to me. Your Grace is unearned, undeserved, and unmerited!!
Grace is Jesus!!

Enjoyed coaching these guys everyday. Great leadership by players and the humility of all to embrace roles and sacrifice. @ETBU_MBSK honored one another well. Thankful for what the Lord did this season! Very special group of men.

It’s so cool that we can go to God anytime!!
1. God hears our cry.
2. God searches for the lost.
3. God gives us help.
4. God releases us from our bondage.
5. God gives us purpose. “You matter”
6. God welcomes us with open arms and tells us to come to him.
