The national media better hold Justin Herbert accountable for his playoff performances like they do to Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott.

There is NO replacement for strength and conditioning/performance classes during the school day as a class. None. Anybody that says there is has either never been part of that or is just trying to make themselves feel better about how they are forced to do it.
When I was at YCHS I had our football guys 180 days a year for 90 min in class and they showed up all summer. Around 225 sessions a year. I’d guess attendance for those 225 was 90% plus out or 90+ kids. That’s a norm for many of the best programs in South Carolina. But so is having a dedicated sports performance professional on campus full time running those classes. It’s a great model.

Overload is everything. If you avoid it, you’re doomed to a lifetime of physical flaccidity. It’s simple—force adaptation or stay the same. Don’t spin your wheels. Here’s how to apply progressive overload to maximize gains 👇

Just finished talking to Bishop Amat's new head coach Kory Minor, story coming. He said his phone is already blowing up with coaches and former alumni that all want to join him. He's said it's overwhelming.

Nordics are massively overrated. I haven’t programmed them once since I became a head S&C coach.
My tiers for avoiding hamstring injuries:
1:
Avoidance of massive increases in volume in conditioning/practice
Sprinting twice a week
2:
Split squats and single leg/staggered RDL’s

Jumping Higher correlates strongly with all Athletic Outputs.
Jumping is also extremely efficient as it provides a strong stimulus along with quick recovery times.
Prioritize Jumping in your training and watch all other outputs 📈🙌🏻
