Your legacy as a high school coach won’t be measured by wins and losses.
It’ll be measured by the player who comes back years later to say:
“Coach, you changed my life.”

As any coach knows, the “day after” is always the hardest. Thank you to everyone who supported our team this season. Our student section made us the home team last night.☘️ Thank you to the parents, to my exceptional staff (& exceptional humans) - Steve, Joey, Liz & Jim - and thank you to the young women we were lucky to coach. You are a collective bright light and you represent all that is right in the world. ❤️ Thank you for letting me coach you - it’s been my greatest gift.

1. Being a high school coach:
1. You're a mentor, not just a strategist.
2. Wins & losses won’t define you—character will.
3. It's about molding lives, not just players.
4. Every practice is an opportunity to teach life skills.
Coaching impact goes beyond the court.
I couldn’t be prouder of the fight this team showed tonight. This team battled from the tip and never gave up. Thank you to our four seniors. You have left a lasting impact on this program and in the Westport community. I am honored to be your coach. @WestportAthdept @Chezsports
