I’m a 5th generation University of Utah graduate.
And no, my mom did not get rejected from BYU lol. She got a full ride scholarship to the Y and turned it down to go to the U where she met and married my returned missionary dad in the Salt Lake Temple.
The church and gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life and I’m a die-hard Utes fan.
And while I love and respect BYU as an institution and think it does a remarkable amount of good in the world and for the church, comments like yours make it sometimes very, very hard to be charitable toward BYU fans.
Replying to @BlackBlessedLDS
Utah fans are seriously people who hate the church, people who didn’t get into BYU, and then a few generational LDS Utah fans. Even though Utah has the largest LDS Institute in the country, the feeling on campus is certainly anti-LDS.

BYU has so many fake nice guys lmfao. They think everyone is obligated to root for them and are such insufferable crybaby whiny losers when things don’t go their way. Understand how why so many people don’t like them 😂

All the players and coaches who stayed at Utah and didn’t go to Michigan are sitting at 7-0, 1st in the Big 12 and will be a Top 5 team in the country with the CFP within its grasp while Michigan is sitting at 4-3 with no idea who their QB is or what direction they are going.
