He was on and off the practice squad for 2 seasons until 2023 when he played in the XFL. He was signed by Atlanta in 2024, and since his breakout 5 sack 2025 season he hasn’t looked back! With a 89.6 PFF grade against the niners! What didn’t he show on Sunday? 👇 Play 1: 49ers run some variant of HB dive on the goal-line. Ball is snapped London, jams the guard then uses an arm over move to move through the block and meet the running-back in space stifling the play demonstrating leverage and physicality! Play 2: Looks like a duo power run out of goal-line using a pulling guard and lead-blocking full back from San Fran. LaCale London stays patient and sticks to his lane showing discipline before being engaged by the guard and still leveraging to make a tackle. That’s elevated play! Play 3: 49ers try zone run. Offensive line moves left across the line. Tight end pulls right to seal the edge. Full back stays in line and moves up and right to try to finish creating a hole in the right A gap. London utilizes excellent block-shedding against the center and stifles the run! Play 4: Looks like a draw from San Fran, but London blows up off the line, elite anticipation beating the center and since the guard pulled he practically went unblocked to assist in breaking down the play. Great anticipation, discipline, patience, and power! Seems like a great game if I’ve ever seen one!
