If you’re reading this, I hope you win‼️
There are too many people in this world rooting for others to fail. Sadly, sometimes it’s even those closest to us.
Remember this: Comparison is the thief of joy.
I want us all to win. Jesus won the victory, so let’s celebrate and encourage our brothers and sisters instead of competing with them.
You’ll never make your light shine brighter by trying to dim someone else’s. Keep shining, keep cheering others on, and trust that what God has for you is meant for you. ✨🙏💛

Parents running their kids accounts for recruiting purposes is not it.
Prepare the child for the path, not the path for the child.
Let your boys learn to handle their business like young men.

Kobe was already in the gym at 4am while his teammates were asleep. Phelps trained on Christmas while other swimmers rested. the gap they built wasn't talent. it was just hours nobody else was willing to put in. the hours are still available. nobody is competing for them.

The GREATEST sports parents are those who let the coaches coach, the officials officiate, are their children’s biggest support system, and spend more time and energy focusing on their child’s character, work ethic, and education, than anything else.

“No options left” is often just exhaustion talking. When we’re tired, disappointed, or stuck, it’s easy to give up. But the next possibility appears only after we take a breath, ask for help, change the angle, or try the thing that feels too simple to matter.

Today in 1986, Bob Horner cranked four home runs at the Launching Pad vs. the Montreal Expos. l was watching it all go down on an eight-thousand pound 19” Zenith parked on green shag carpet.

Our lighthouse was busy this month!
After each homerun and Sea Dogs’ home victory, the lighthouse will illuminate in celebration, announcing that @lighthouse_cu will be donating funds to The United Way of Southern Maine, up to $10,000, during the 2026 season!
