Wilson trailed for most of the game against South Florence. However, a late fourth-quarter rally proved the difference as the Tigers upset the 9th-ranked Bruins on the final night of the regular season.
South Florence is still the region champs and should have a first-round bye. The Tigers solidified their postseason spot with the win. @WHSTigers_FB @tigers_wilson @CoachBWilson2 @NabrysonElliott @Kayden_Bethea
Your Knights get it done on the road again. 28-22 over Long County. #Compete #setthestandard #everydaygiveeverything

When We were Growing Up the High School Head Football Coach was the Most RESPECTED Man & Leader in the Town.
He was just as or More Valuable than the Mayor & Viewed in Communities like the President especially in 1 & 2 HS Towns (Cities). That admiration & respect trickled so when College Coaches actually came to watch an older guy it was MAJOR. That in return gave young kids HOPE that they would be in those same shoes playing for that Head Coach.
Now everyone is a GURU & believe they know more than Him & The 1st Sign of anything they are ready to remove him from town. That has trickled to entitlement that some take it for granted or just expect that college coaches are supposed to be there when EVERY visit from a College coach is special as Well.

“Negative experiences without teaching kill morale.”
This is such an important coaching lesson.
Players are going to fail. They are going to make mistakes.
The question: What do we do with it?

High school athletics is fascinating because the same parent who demands accountability from coaches will explain why their child shouldn't have consequences for missing three practices.
Accountability is apparently a one-way street.
