𝕎𝕖𝕝𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 ℂ𝕠𝕒𝕔𝕙 𝔸𝕞𝕪 ℤ𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕥𝕠 ℝ𝕖𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕒 𝔹𝕒𝕤𝕜𝕖𝕥𝕓𝕒𝕝𝕝! 👑🏀 We are excited to welcome our new basketball coach, Amy Zink, a dedicated and culture-focused leader with more than 20 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels. A former collegiate student-athlete in both basketball and volleyball, she brings firsthand knowledge of the commitment, resilience, leadership, and teamwork required to succeed both on and off the court. Most recently, she served as an assistant coach at Rochester Christian University and previously led the Cousino High School girls varsity program for seven seasons. At the heart of her coaching philosophy is a commitment to developing strong female leaders and creating a positive, growth-oriented culture built on trust, accountability, communication, and mental toughness. But for her, coaching is about much more than basketball—it’s about building meaningful relationships, helping athletes discover their potential, and teaching them the value of being a great teammate and contributing to something bigger than themselves. In addition to her extensive coaching background, she brings 25 years of experience serving youth and families through Macomb County Juvenile Court, along with a background in psychology and adolescent development. These experiences have shaped her ability to lead with empathy, consistency, and understanding while helping young people navigate challenges and grow with confidence. We are excited to have a coach who is committed to developing not only competitive basketball teams, but inspiring confident, resilient young women who carry the lessons of teamwork and leadership with them well beyond the basketball court into the rest of their lives.
