So true! It’s a small percentage of players that will really sacrifice what it takes to win. Are you willing to sacrifice to win or is winning going to become the sacrifice?
Sometimes God will keep you where you are until the place He is bringing you too is ready. Even when you don’t understand it, it’s good to trust God and be where your feet are. Your time will come and when it comes, it’ll all be worth it!

I see so many people upset about the $ for young coaches / GA’s or volunteer opportunities.. All I can say is.. If it’s your PASSION, and you have an OPPORTUNITY, why would the $ bother you? I worked for a $2000 stipend per semester last year while working two other jobs. If you gonna complain about it, don’t do it. There’s people who would give up anything for that position.

Before it’s a habit, it’s uncomfortable.
Before it’s a habit, it’s inconvenient.
Before it’s a habit, you’re bad at it.
Before it’s a habit, it’s an obstacle.
Before it’s a habit, it’s frustrating.
Before it’s a habit, it’s difficult.
Keep showing up.

Team culture isn’t built by hours in the gym, flashy drills, or even a coach’s knowledge. It’s built by the daily actions of the entire staff—through relentless consistency, real accountability, & genuine care that’s not just talked about, but clearly proven every single day.

Toughness is not just shown in the physical form!! Tough players are competitive - rarely make compounding mistakes/repeat mistakes- and when the chips are down find ways to win!! BE TOUGH!! TOUGH WINS

Blessed and thankful to announce that I have accepted the Assistant Men’s Basketball coaching position at Hinds Community College. Definitely a blessing and means a lot to be back in Mississippi in the same conference that I once played in. LETS GOOOO!!!!
