Most athletes are terrified of life after the game.
Jordan Colbert used to be one of them.
Coming in as a rookie — head down, tunnel vision, ignore everything else. Worry about that later.
But later always comes.
Now? He has a vision. A foundation. A life that doesn't fall apart when football ends.
Football isn't done. Not even close.
But when that day comes — five, ten years down the road — he won't be caught off guard.
The scariest moment in an athlete's career isn't the last game. It's the first morning after.
Build your foundation before you need it.

According to linebacker coach Joe Barry the Dolphins have made safety Jordan Colbert an inside linebacker.
“He has great athleticism and was always on the bigger side as a safety…..If he has any future in the National Football League it was going to be as a linebacker.”

Dolphins safety Jordan Colbert thrilled to be called up to the active roster.
He said he’s got positional versatility in the secondary, hasn’t played the nickel but is willing to contribute there if called upon.

#Dolphins sign Jordan Colbert to 53, Kendall Sheffield to practice squad

The Dolphins have promoted Jordan Colbert to the 53-man roster, and placed Cornell Armstrong on IR. Miami also re-signed Kendall Sheffield, who was waived with an injury settlement out of camp, to the practice squad.
This likely means Minkah Fitzpatrick remains the nickel CB.
