This is why I coach - it’s always bigger than basketball!! I’ve been fortunate to coach good players, win a lot of games, AND make relationships that last a life time. I also have a pretty good track record of knowing how to use basketball to help kids improve their lives.

The best winners believe they can succeed, and have the humility to acknowledge they could fall short. Own both possibilities, release the pressure, and keep taking your shot.

I'm not anti-mid-range. I'm anti-contested shot. Most mid-range shots are contested - that's the actual problem.

Glad to know I'm not the only coach to watch old highlights at random times. Then I usually text them to the guys who made the memories with me!!
