people don't understand that the actual problem with dubs is not that the specific actors are all supposedly untalented hacks, its that the strict adherance to the lip flaps and timing of the animation completely kills *any* actors ability to actually do their job.

I can't stop thinking about episode 8, phenomenal work from the entire staff! Seeing that Sho Oi was storyboard artist, one of the animation directors, and did some key animation, I adored seeing how their style was interpreted. I wonder, did they do key animation for this cut?

Genuinely one of my favorite things about Edgerunners 2 is that it treats Night City like... a city. In S1 it was so overwraught with sex and violence you go "why would anybody ever live here?!" In S2 its like 16% worse than IRL NYC which I think is perfect. People live here!

finished Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 I LOVED the story, but i never want to see Night City portrayed this sauceless, gritless. sexless again, it felt sanitized to the point of being interchangeable. NC has too much personality to feel like an afterthought ๐Ÿฅ€

Took up my entire afternoon, but I watched all of Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2. Big big big improvement over Season 1, a much more fulfilling work. A couple of story bumps near the end keep it from being truly amazing, but still a worthwhile watch imo.
