Browns coach Todd Monken interviewed for the Jets' head-coaching job in 2019, when he was the Bucs OC. He didn't get the job but recalled a piece of advice someone from the Jets' interview process gave him:
"Don't ever forget that you're a Mercedes when you look in the mirror. You can't control if they want a Lexus."
