Brian schottenheimer had 3 opportunities to get 10 yards and win the football game. You have Dak Prescott. Ceedee Lamb. George Pickens. Javonte Williams. You’ve been a play caller in the nfl for 20 years. And you lost to a first time head coach at home.

The Dak Prescott era in Dallas is over. This football team is unfixable. It’s time to blow it up

Rings are built in April, not November. Keep your picks.

2027 NFL Draft Preview: Trevor Lauck Instinctive player with a natural feel for fit and hat placement. Nice polish in man / gap schemes Has a nasty streak and finishes plays Snap Opposite is textbook Great intangibles. Iowa doesn’t ask much from its tackles in pass protection. Very little vertical sets or reps that translate to the next level. Nothing in the athleticism department flys off the tape. Overall he is my OT3 on my big board

This genuinely might be the worst 3rd Round I’ve ever seen.

The Andy Reid discourse on this app can really be summed up into this: “You either Die a Hero or live long enough and become the villain” Happens to every single long time successful head coach. Most recently it was Bill Belicheck Nick Saban And now Andy Reid. The guy who likes cheeseburgers and winning football games is all of a sudden the poster child for morality in a world that doesn’t even agree on what that standard of morality is.

So Josh Sweat is a Detroit Lion got it
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says on @1053thefan that he doesn’t feel like they need to make a trade to keep up with other teams around the league. “It would have to be a dynamic situation to give up (draft) picks.”

Are we really going to sit here in the big 2026 and slander quarterbacks for playing better with a strong run game? This is such an espn stat going “oh hey look at this specific situation without any context inside of a game and look it’ll fit my narrative” Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who doesn’t even understand basic math. Dan can you tell me what Dak Prescott career win percentage is? Or are you still struggling on that concept?
Cowboys are 49-6 with Dak when the run it at least 50% of the time on early downs. @PaulHembo

The Carolina Panthers will either win by 30 or lose by 30. Sorry I don’t make the rules. The cruel gods of the NFC South do.

Always love an excuse to go watch Jeffrey Simmons tape. Dude is a freak. I think the one thing we can all agree on is this move will make or break Ryan Poles Tenure as the bears GM. The expectations for this roster now is Super Bowl or Bust. #DaBears
Jeffery Simmons Trade Thoughts: This is the first time ever a DT has been traded for multiple firsts. There are not enough superlatives to say about how great of a football player Jeffery Simmons is or the impact he has had in Nashville his entire career. A stalwart in the middle of your defense who—despite chaos and down right non competitive football being played—still performed like a top 5 player. And now in his Age 29 season: 38 TOT 6 TFLs 9 QB Hits 4 Sacks Now that I have sung Jeffery Simmons praises….this is an AWFUL TRADE. The Chicago bears window is now. Caleb Williams is playing at that level. So you’d think an all in move would make sense. But two firsts for a soon to be 30 interior defender simply won’t have the immediate impact everyone will expect from that investment. Jeffery Simmons is a floor raising kind of player. But did the bears really raise their ceiling?

A friendly reminder that the Arizona Cardinals have managed to win the past 5 meetings against Dallas. Also, in the Brian Schottenheimer Era the only time the Dallas Cowboys have ever won back to back games was last season against the Eagles and Chiefs to improve to 5-5-1

I just don’t think an Aaron Glenn coached football team sitting at 2-5 through 7 weeks can be looked at as a competitive team. I sympathize with jets fans I really do. Your GM has set this football team up with the opportunity to finally build a sustainable winner. But what is the best approach? Personally I would be trading breece hall and starting Braelon Allen. I would trade Garrett Wilson. I would confirm the number one pick on my franchise QB. And I would replenish the roster with cost controlled young talent and supplement in free agency.
Replying to @SidelineJournl
Garret Wilson is a top 10 receiver and the most talented WR the Jets have probably ever drafted. Sauce is no longer a top 10 corner. Garret Wilson is 26. This team is ready to compete now, held back by coaching. They’re drafting a QB next year. They ALREADY have 3 1st rd picks

Quenton Nelson Trade Thoughts: The hall of fame guard is still at the peak of his powers. And what he’s about to provide this Seahawks oline should have the entire NFC West scared

Literally everybody understands that John Dorsey built the dynasty in Kansas City. Brett Veach is the biggest Larper in the league
Brett Veach has been the Chiefs GM for a decade. They have no OL depth, no WR talent at all, no pass rush, and their solution at CB depth was a guy the worst team in the NFL cut. Their 2 best offensive players and their best defensive player were drafted by his predecessor.

Chris Ballard was an actual terrorist to the colts organization… Traded what would be the WR1 on this team, Kenyon Saadiq and a Top 10 pick in 2027 for a 27 year old DB who is allowing a passer rating of 106.7 when targeted. The Sauce Gardner trade Will go down as an all time bad trade. But the colts 25-26 offseason should be looked at even more. Michael Pittman shipped out, Daniel jones paid, and drafted CJ Allen who has been a healthy scratch most weeks. Dark days ahead for Indy

LB Demarvion Overshown provides the connective tissue in the middle of Christian Parker’s defense. He made plays for the Dallas cowboys on all three levels 6 TOT 1 INT 1 TFL 1 PBU 33 yards allowed in coverage The question is like it’s been all year involving the cowboys, can this become consistent? If so…. Dallas might win the NFC East
LB Demarvion Overshown has been all over the field and looks healthy. His last healthy season in 2024 he looked like a top 10 inside linebacker. Will be huge for the #DallasCowboys going forward if they get this level of play from him going forward

It’s often said it’s about the Jimmie’s and joes and not the X’s & O’s But good coaching in the nfl is what sets the floor for a great football team. Great teams have both. Bad teams it’s one or the other. The most frustrating teams, are win they clearly have talent, clearly have good football players at key positions, but it’s coaching that holds the team back. The 2026 #DallasCowboys are a case study on this.
