“Congratulations to Ms. Dywanna Howard, McDonough Middle School’s Teacher of the Year! Ms. Howard is an exceptional educator and dedicated Warhawk who consistently goes above and beyond for students and staff. Much of her work occurs behind the scenes, unnoticed by many, because she doesn’t seek recognition. Coach Howard gives selflessly, not for praise, but because she genuinely cares and ensures our athletes have access to a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Her work ethic and commitment are unmatched. Balancing her roles as a teacher, athletic director, and high school tennis coach requires incredible dedication, and she does it all with grace and excellence. Coach Howard embodies what it means to be an outstanding educator, leader, mentor, and Teacher of the Year.” Stay tuned as we highlight our exceptional teachers and their commitment to providing a high-quality, world-class education for every student, leading up to this year's #TOTY2025 ceremony on Oct. 2. #BrightFuturesBeginInHCS #HenryProud #YouBelongInHenry
