“Delighted and incredibly proud to have officially been awarded my UEFA B Coaching Licence! ⚽️📘
The journey has been challenging, but the learning and growth have been entirely worth it. A massive thank you to my brother and friend @collindavidmortleybsya for his support and encouragement and the fantastic group of coaches I met on the course.
I also couldn’t have done it without the support of @michaelwilliamrice @arcollins__ and @jwsportsmanagement for providing the right platform to execute my coaching abilities.
The UEFA B journey started 2023 with block 1 and 2024 with Block 2.
Excited for the next chapter in my coaching journey and putting all this into practice.
Let’s keep pushing!
Barcelona concept of pressing is to suffocate you immediately
Giving you less time to think or make any better decisions.
If you beat that suffocating pressing in your own half
They become vulnerable on the quick transition especially in wide areas
Jude Bellingham was destroying their aggressive pressing
Barca biggest strengths is their line of pressing
Replying to @Coachayere
Madrid won because our press was poor due to large distances between our players and I'm sure we will correct that
Playing long trying to beat the Barca press won’t work in most cases.
Perfect game plan is to play through the pressing using high intense progression possession.
Stretch their high line by positioning two wide players at the extreme of the center line
And hit them on counter from the wide area.
Abeg allow us enjoy our amazing win.
Thank God Arsenal didn’t win 😂😂😂
We cannot be struggling against Fleetwood, a team playing League Two football. The performance tonight was simply not good enough. Arsenal played with no urgency, no intensity, and far too little purpose.
From my experience, games like this are often won or lost on mentality. When the opposition is considered weaker, players can struggle to find the motivation and hunger required to perform at their best. But that is exactly where professionalism and character must show.
I genuinely don’t understand why we struggled to dominate this game. Our build-up was too slow, our attacking play was predictable, and we kept making the same decisions every time we approached their goal. Dowman made too many wrong decisions tonight, while the more experienced players failed to step up and take responsibility when the team needed them.
Having Liverpool in mind ahead of Sunday is no excuse. You are an Arsenal player, and every time you step onto that pitch, the expectation is to compete, dominate, and deliver. You cannot switch off simply because the opposition is considered inferior.
THIS IS NOT THE STANDARD EXPECTED OF ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB.
The badge demands more. The fans deserve more. And every player on that pitch must understand that wearing this shirt comes with responsibility.
Vini should be second option.
Real Madrid is in a better shape without Vini.
Seriously, I’m genuinely concerned about how we’re going to line up once Rodrygo returns to full fitness.
Vinícius will return to the starting XI once his suspension ends, which means Diomande will likely have to move back to the right wing.
So, what happens next? Will Rodrygo have to prove himself worthy of a starting spot from the bench? Will Diomande be benched because the left wing belongs to Vini? Or will Mourinho continue playing Diomande on the left wing?
And that’s not even the end of it. With Rodrygo back, Arda Güler will likely return to the No. 10 role, which raises another question: will Jude be pushed back to the No. 8 position, or will Arda have to adapt to a different role?
Seriously, Mourinho has a tough job ahead of him.
I just saw a podcast where @SundayOOliseh said “ Nigeria team is not good enough “
I 1000% agreed
Nigeria super Eagles is not good enough.
We are a bunch of average players.
95% of Nigeria players play in a club that never competes for trophies and about 70% of them are not part of the core squad of their respective clubs.
SHORT BUT QUICK CHANGE OF SPEED.
A modern requirements for elite performance.
In today’s game, it’s not just about being fast. It’s about changing speed at the right moment.
Brake, accelerate, explode.
Sand forces overload.
Game gives you the reward.
LESS FANCY. MORE IMPACT.
Close touches in tight spaces aren't built overnight. It takes consistency, repetition, and discipline.
Sand, cones, barefoot — building feel, balance and control where it matters most.
A big opportunity for grassroots coaches

Wishing you all the very best.
I had this thought too

Was Cortios really unavailable or it was a mind game, I took trust Mourinho to fuck with opponents mentally 😅
