A tornado in Clarksville, Tennessee, ripped the roof off Sydney Moore’s home and sucked her 4-month-old baby into the sky still inside his bassinet. But... GOD.

The father tried to grab the bassinet but the winds swept him up with the infant. Sydney threw herself over their 1-year-old son as the walls collapsed around them.

When the storm passed their mobile home was destroyed. Both parents and the older child survived, but the baby was missing. They searched the wreckage for about 10 minutes.

The father then found the infant lying alive in the hollow of a fallen tree roughly 25 feet away. The baby had only minor injuries, including a cut on his face that was later glued.

The entire family survived with cuts and bruises. Sydney credited their escape to the grace of God. The tornado that struck the area was rated EF-3 with winds up to 150 mph.

Think about what it means when a 4-month-old is lifted out of a collapsing home inside his bassinet and found alive in a tree minutes later while the rest of the family also walks away.
But... GOD.

As great as the gym was yesterday, seeing my mom 25+ years sober and thriving stands out the most. My mom was in the deepest depths of addiction as I was growing up. After years of very hard moments, I gave up hope in her during my early 20’s - but she never gave up on herself. I’ve learned so much from that. For anybody battling addiction, my mom is living proof that it can be overcome - one day at a time.

I would like to thank all those who have prayed for me in recent days. I wish to express my particular gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all the staff of the Gemelli Hospital. This experience has made me feel particularly close to all those who are living with illness or infirmity. Now that I have overcome this delicate phase I will gradually resume my activities, always with God’s help and your prayers.

‘My mother Gloria passed away recently I cancelled our shows last week to go be with my family and make arrangements, she was the best audience she was the one I was always trying to make laugh and she was such a fan of the show’
‘When we were little my mom will walk us to this store me and my sister and will hold our hands and she would squeeze my hands three times and say I love you and I will squeeze back I love you too, and last week I was in the hospital and I grabbed her hands and squeezed I love you I just knew we were in trouble’
‘But I feel so grateful to be able to do this I’m very appreciative of all the support that my family received for the past week, we are gonna continue to work really hard to bring some light and some laughter into the world’
