"Press F to Pay Respects"
It's not feeling the same going to Busch Gardens lately, since I got on 2nd to the last public train during its final roar ceremony... It feels like I forgot it closed.

After 33 years of thrilling riders, Kumba at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will roar for the final time on August 2. When it opened in 1993, it was Florida's tallest & fastest coaster, introducing many riders to the smooth, forceful experience that would become synonymous with B&M 🐾

The end of an era 🎢 Thanks to @BuschGardens & Mark Favia for the opportunity to be one of the very last riders of the iconic Kumba! And thanks to everyone giving us a ‘Last Riders’ welcome when we got done riding it!! 🙌

I did enjoy my ride on "The Kumba" @BuschGardens

Good night, my sweet prince. Got at least one of the 10 last trains ever. Kumba lives on ✊🗣️
One of my favorite roller coasters to marathon. I was grateful to visit Busch Gardens to get my very final rides on Kumba.
The park sure is gonna hit different without that iconic ride. Hard to get used to not riding. Can't wait for what's next though...
Long live the legend…

Take a good look at the demolition to the cave at Congo River Rapids. I’ll let you all in on a detail… The rapids reopening is tied to Kumba’s closure. Once Congo is ready to reopen in the coming weeks, without its cave section being a part of the ride, Kumba will be closed down so its ride ops can be transferred and trained on reopening Congo River Rapids.

Yes, I have heard about rumors.
I am hesitant to say for sure, because I'm not in FL to ask the people who always give me correct information, but I would certainly encourage you to make a trip down to BGT and ride Kumba.
If you love the ride and don't want to see it go, SPEAK UP

While I understand rumors of Kumba’s demise have existed for years now, it upsets me to even have to talk about it. From what several of us now know, this ride will be closing MUCH SOONER than we could have ever anticipated.
Don’t wait until Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announces its closure to get your rides in. From what several of us had been told, there’s a good chance they won’t even be making an announcement prior to closing it permanently, so make your plans now if you really want your final rides. Aim for no later than August 2nd. Yes… the same date as Arie Force One’s closure. This is the LAST thing I want to report on. I’ve never wanted to be wrong more in my life. Don’t get Kingda Ka’d!

Word on the street is that Kumba’s days are numbered. If you want a final ride on Kumba, I’d make plans to visit in the next few months. Given recent ride closures at @buschgardens, I don’t expect too much of a heads up from them to give fans their final opportunity to ride.

ALT Just the bear tree friend guys being the "kings of the hill" while chilling in front of a fence. Pop sure didn't see anything while he was too distracted enjoying his beer in peace; he lost track of a little one... His Cub son seems to be entertained by two of the bear homeboys pulling funny faces at him.

Stanley Falls Flume is currently being removed at @BuschGardens Tampa, likely making way for another gravel pit. Still no plans filed with the state for Stanley Falls Flume, nor Scorpion’s replacement.
