Yesterday Dr Mock-Font randomised our 500th patient into #recoverytrial - thanks to all our patients who continue to consent to trial, helping find effective treatments for COVID-19
Our surgical team have been busy already this week - another patient has been randomised into @TrialChaps which is looking at the use of compression stockings in patients with DVT and whether they help avoid complications
The SIGNET trial from @NHSBT recently opened at the Countess, with consultant anaesthetist/intensivist @KJTiz as PI. This is the our first experience of organ donation research, it is an so honour to have been selected nhsbt.nhs.uk/clinical-trials…
ATNEC is the most recent breast cancer trial to open at COCH - looking forward to recruiting our first patient soon
