"You can appreciate someone's impact and still disagree with their opinions"
This is one thing a lot of Nigerians fail go understand again and again. Your mentor, boss, idolo, someone you look up to, etc, can make mistakes or have opinions that differ from yours, and you can counter that, and still be loyal 🤷
The way some Nigerians think is actually weird.
Because Technical Ben has bought four laptops and done a lot for people in the tech space, does that mean he's above criticism?
If he says something wrong or does something you genuinely disagree with, are you supposed to keep quiet because of everything he's done?
You don't have to agree with someone every single time just because they've helped people.
You can appreciate someone's impact and still disagree with their opinions. Both things can be true.
Have your own opinion. If they disagree with you, that's fine. You can both move on.
Helping people doesn't make anyone a god. Nobody deserves blind loyalty.

Evolving threat 🚨 CVE-2026-111497, previously known to affect Node.js (node2shell) and Python has evolved into “HTTP2Shell.”
A significant blast radius.
This vulnerability leaves many libraries and applications using HTTP vulnerable to pre-auth RCE via Brotli decompression.
Please be aware. Fixes not yet available for all affected services. Look for Brotli (1.2.1) dependency upgrades when they become available.

I moved to T3 code yesterday too...but for another reason. Wanted to use my Claude and Codex sub once and wanted a case where Claude spawns up codex threads when need be. Sweet experience so far

Oh I get now. Fair enough, it's both a great time for SWE and horrible time for SWE depending on how you look at it....and how you end up 😂

Yeah 😂. He was a dev educator at PlanetScale as at 2023 and was basically the face of PlanetScale for me and a lot of others.
When he was laid off, people were so so so so so shocked and annoyed...but he rose past it and is doing incredibly well

Similar for me when Aaron Francis left PlanetScale
