This weekends DIY project was transforming the 78cm alcove that hid my boiler pipes into my new office. Here's the grand reveal, the world's tiniest office is now complete 🥳
After lots of intense revision and hard work learning about #AWS services, I've finally passed my certified cloud practioner exam 🥳☁️
Today is a good day, I passed the BCS Level 4 Diploma in Software Development Methodologies exam and got the keys to my flat 🥳
I had a great time attending the @swift_leeds conference yesterday. There were so many inspiring talks and I've got plenty of notes of things to go and investigate today. I've also decided its time to start some indie dev projects 💪🏽🍎

4 Learning Techniques that have helped me as a Software Engineer
Recently I have been studying for my AWS exam. There are various ways in which I learn better so here is a little thread to help anybody else better their learning experience🧵1/5
#DEVCommunity #developer #coding
Today I finished building my first iOS app with #SwiftUI following along with Paul Hudson's live stream, it's been a really fun learning process so far 😊
Week one of learning C# is over! My head is completely frazzled but i also feel like i've learnt loads and actually managed to write quite a bit of code and kind of get used to using Visual Studio.
✨Slow Progress Is Powerful✨
Today was the first day of my level 4 software development apprenticeship we started with an introduction to C# and omg my brain feels like 🤯
What a weird week, I turned 26 in lockdown, the world seems like it's on fire but at least i learnt a lot and it feels like I've made some good progress with projects we are working on. Me and Hugo added Redux Toolkit and Stripe successfully something I've never done before.
Day 38: today we started integrating stripe payments and redux toolkit into our react app. We made good progress from the client side and I've been learning lots.

You know you spent your childhood watching too much trash tv when you're trying to test your stripe integration for the US and the only postcode you can think of is 90210
Tell me why I've had this in my head all day:
Certified geek, seven days a week, web apps pending, got that React game on fleek
Why is my brain like this 🤦🏾♀️
Day 37: I started learning Redux toolkit today using a mixture of YouTube tutorials and the documentation. Were hoping to use it in our React project instead of regular Redux.

Day 36: A productive end to the year. I learnt lots about handling JWTs on the frontend and implementing authorise and refresh tokens.

I hope you all have a lovely new years eve 🥳
Day 35: today we merged the api requests with the UI work we did and now we have a working frontend that looks kind of how it's supposed to 🥳
