This is why you need to stop trading p2p on custodial exchanges and start trading crypto p2p directly from your web 3 wallet only on @CoinKove
My experience with @RedotPay has been really disappointing.
I was using RedotPay for online transactions and decided to try P2P. I deposited $100, but my account was suddenly restricted for “security reasons,” leaving me unable to use P2P.
When I tried to withdraw my funds, I faced the same issue.
Here's what happened:
• Oct 18: Requested a withdrawal and contacted support after several difficulties.
• Oct 18: Emailed support as instructed.
• Oct 19: They asked me to complete verification again, which I did, submitting all valid documents, including my bank statement.
• My verification was rejected despite providing the requested information.
• I emailed them again, but it's been 3 days with no response.
My $120+ USDT withdrawal is still unresolved.
@RedotPay, I've followed your instructions and provided the required documents. Why is my withdrawal still blocked, and why am I not getting a response from your support team?
As the support system is really sus, I had to write a long tweet, hopefully they will do something !

Worried about getting scammed when trading crypto P2P?
That’s one of the biggest concerns, and @coinkove tackles it with escrow on every trade and a trader rating system that helps you check who you’re dealing with before you trade.
More confidence. More transparency. A smarter way to trade P2P.
Trade with confidence on @coinkove.

Meet Ada and Tunde. Both want $200 in USDT tonight.
Ada opens Bybit. Selfie. NIN. Proof of address. "Verification pending." Even after she's approved, her crypto sits in a wallet she doesn't hold the keys to. One flagged transfer can land her account "under review," and now she's waiting on a company to decide if she can touch her own money.
Tunde opens @coinkove. No ID upload. He picks a seller with solid reviews and chooses OPay. The seller's USDT is locked in smart-contract escrow before he sends a single kobo. He pays, the escrow releases, done. He pays zero buyer fees.
Same goal. Two very different answers to one question: who controls your money?
Bybit's answer: they do.
Coinkove's answer: you do.
That's the problem Coinkove is solving. It isn't building another exchange to trust. It's taking the middleman out of the middle.
#trustless #p2p
Traditional P2P crypto trading has always had one major problem which is trust.
You find a seller, agree on a price, send your money, and then just hope they actually release the crypto. Too many times people get ghosted, delayed, or scammed. Even on bigger platforms, your funds often sit in someone else’s custody, and you’re locked into their system.
That’s the exact problem @CoinKove is solving.
They’re building non-custodial, wallet-native P2P trading where you connect your existing wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, Trust Wallet, Rabby, etc.), your funds never leave your control, and trades only settle through smart-contract escrow when both sides meet the conditions.
No platform custody. No “send first and pray.” Just peer-to-peer with actual protection.
Just signed up on the platform.
@CoinKove let’s your spend your crypto with ease

The biggest problem with traditional P2P crypto trading is the lack of real protection. You find someone, send the money, and just hope they actually release the crypto. Too many scams, delays, and frozen accounts on custodial platforms.@CoinKove
is building a non-custodial P2P marketplace where you trade directly from your own wallet with smart-contract escrow — no platform holding your funds.
One Of The Core Principles Behind Coinkove Is Non-Custodial, Wallet-Native P2P trading.
We believe P2P works best when users stay in full control of their assets. That’s why Coinkove doesn’t lock you into a proprietary wallet or custodial system.
Instead, Coinkove is built to be fully compatible with leading Web3 wallets, including MetaMask, Phantom, Trust Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Rabby, Leap, Keplr, TokenPocket, and more.
Here’s what that means in practice:
• You connect your existing wallet
• Your funds never leave your control
• Trades are executed via smart-contract escrow
• No platform custody, no hidden handling of assets
Your wallet becomes your identity and also your signature authorizes every action.
And settlement only happens when both parties meet the trade conditions.
This approach removes unnecessary friction, reduces counterparty risk, and keeps Coinkove aligned with the true ethos of P2P; peer to peer, not platform to user.
If you’ve ever traded P2P and wished it felt more secure, more transparent, and more Web3-native, this is exactly what we’re building.
More under the hood soon.

This is the exact problem most people ignore until they get burned.
Traditional P2P is just send and pray
Non-custodial + smart contract escrow is how it should’ve always worked
Funds stay in your wallet until both sides are done. No middleman, no excuses
This is cool

Most “P2P” platforms still take custody and hope nothing goes wrong
@CoinKove flipped it wallet towallet with actual smart contract escrow
No one can run off with your funds

The problem with crypto nowadays isn't that people can't buy crypto. It is that P2P traders still have to think about trust, payment flexibility and who controls their funds.
Now I love how @CoinKove approaches this differently in a way that no other platform does with their wallet-based trading and smart contract escrow which is designed to let users trade directly while keeping control of their wallets.
With that you can just obviously see that @CoinKove now makes P2P trading more flexible without asking users to blindly trust the other person.
