It’s been a painful two days with our autistic child. The type that debilitates her life and ours. It reinforces how our lives are dominated by it. It’s not a position we would like anyone else to endure but hard for other people (parents) to understand. 😢

The best player and manager that @ManUtd could never access. Yes, I mean what I say.

INEOS at Man Utd👇🏼
- Publicly look for a new manager and interview Amorim, only to decide against appointing him.
- Keep Ten Hag, give him a new contract and spend £200m on players suited to his system.
- Just three months later, sack Ten Hag and appoint the same Amorim they interviewed in the summer, despite him playing a completely different system that demands different players.
- Dan Ashworth reportedly argues that Ten Hag should be given more time, or that United should appoint a manager better suited to the summer signings.
- Ratcliffe hates that Ashowth disagrees with him (because Jim thinks he knows best) and after spending months and going through legal action to get Ashworth, he’s gone after five months.
- Wonder why things get worse under Amorim when the squad isn’t suited to his system. Ratcliffe then says he’ll give Amorim three years.
- Wilcox reportedly tells Amorim how he should coach and set up his team. Amorim isn’t happy. Ratcliffe backs Wilcox and sacks Amorim.
- Appoint Carrick, lose a huge player in Casemiro, spend next to nothing backing Carrick and then wonder why it goes wrong.
- Now they’re reportedly delaying the inevitable with Carrick for financial reasons, leaving everyone in limbo.
Ratcliffe said when he arrived that United wouldn’t keep changing between managers with different styles of play. That’s exactly what they’ve done.
Berrada said players who don’t perform for two years would be moved on. We sold nobody this summer.
They’re liars, they’re incompetent, and this feels like one big vanity project to them.

What INEOS have done at #mufc in less than THREE YEARS. It’s actually scary:
• Publicly explored replacing Ten Hag, then kept him and extended his contract.
• Spent around £200m that summer, only to sack him three months later.
• Spent millions securing Dan Ashworth after months of negotiations, only for him to leave five months into the job due to him not being on board with Amorim replacement due to huge change in playing style amid reports.
• Backed Amorim after finishing 15th, then sacked him following a reported breakdown in relations with the hierarchy. Where was that decisiveness over performances?
• Ratcliffe publicly said Amorim needed three years in October. He was gone by January.
• Retained Matt Hargreaves to lead transfer negotiations, yet we’re still questioning why moving players on and completing deals is so difficult. Hargreaves was working in sports marketing before this role.
• Said Carrick was an interim appointment while they took their time finding the right long-term manager. Then gave Carrick the job, reportedly against Vivell’s advice.
• Left Carrick going into a Champions League season without signing a left-back or providing adequate squad depth. Now we’re discussing his replacement in OCTOBER.
• If Carrick goes, his replacement will be the fourth permanent manager to work under INEOS in less than three years.
• Wilcox could get another say in choosing the manager despite his role in the decisions that brought us here. He reportedly wants Eddie Howe. Imagine still having Dan Ashworth…
• Ratcliffe identified constant managerial changes and switches in playing style as United’s problem in February 2024. Said the club needed an identity and recruitment to match. They’ve repeated the exact cycle he criticised.
• Sold McTominay and signed Ugarte despite reports Ten Hag wanted to keep McTominay.
• Moved the women’s team into temporary facilities so the men could use their building during Carrington renovations.
• Ratcliffe reportedly asked Katie Zelem, the women’s captain at the time, who she was and what she did at the club.
• Made hundreds of staff redundant while spending millions reversing their own decisions on managers and executives.
• Raised remaining members’ match tickets to £66 midway through 2024/25, removing concessions for children and pensioners on those tickets.
• Moved longstanding season-ticket holders out of their seats to make room for more corporate hospitality.
• Scrapped free staff lunches, reduced bonuses and removed free staff travel to the FA Cup final.
• Cancelled the staff Christmas party and reportedly replaced the £100 Christmas bonus with a £40 M&S voucher.

🚨Wayne Rooney reacts to Manchester United’s humiliating 3–0 defeat to Bournemouth:
🗣️Rooney: “I watched that and felt sick. A group of players who looked like they couldn’t be bothered, a team with no identity, no fight and no idea what they’re supposed to be, and a club that has spent over a decade actively destroying everything that made it special. That’s what this 3–0 humiliation at home to Bournemouth actually was.
I feel for Michael. I really do. Deep down he knows this is probably the end for him. You can see it in his face. He’s a good lad, a proper United man, and he’s been handed a squad that doesn’t have the character or the quality to compete. But let’s stop pretending he’s the problem. He isn’t. Manchester United’s crisis starts right at the top — with the people who keep making the same catastrophic decisions, the same disastrous recruitment, the same lack of any clear direction year after year. This club has been in institutional decline since Sir Alex left, and every new manager is just another scapegoat for the people who actually run the place.
Look at that performance today. From the first whistle there was no urgency. Bournemouth scored from a set piece because half the team switched off. Then Yoro slips over in his own box and they walk it in. Then the goalkeeper comes charging out and gets done from a ridiculous angle. That’s not tactics. That’s a team that has no defensive organisation, no concentration, and no pride. When things go wrong, there is zero response. No leaders. No one grabbing the game. Just players standing around looking sorry for themselves while the fans who pay their wages are left embarrassed.
And this squad… some of these players are among the most embarrassing I’ve ever seen wear that shirt. The mentality is soft. The quality in big moments is nowhere near the standard this club used to demand. The character is missing. They care more about themselves than the badge. You saw it with the comments this week. They throw their toys out of the pram the second they’re criticised and then put in a performance like this. It’s pathetic.
People will scream for Carrick to be sacked. Fine. Do it. But don’t kid yourselves it changes anything. You could appoint the best manager in world football tomorrow morning and this club would still be a mess. Because the problems run far deeper than tactics or formations. The structure is broken. The recruitment is broken. The standards are gone. The accountability is non-existent. The same cycle of failure repeats every single season while the people at the top hide behind the next manager they can hang out to dry.
This club has lost its identity. It used to be about winning, about standards, about never accepting second best. Now it’s about excuses, soft players, and a revolving door of managers who get blamed for a mess they didn’t create. Supporters are being forced to watch the same collapse over and over again, and it’s painful because we all remember what this club used to be.
Until the people running Manchester United finally look in the mirror and accept responsibility for the mess they’ve created, the suffering will continue. No matter who is standing on the touchline.
My day has been spent going to Old Trafford to see #MUFC play and now I am watching the #StrictlyComeDancing results show. It’s been all about endurance, wary repetition of dire form and disappointment…🥱
