I’ve started to increasingly notice the DI as the visual weak link in 35mm productions from the 2000s, especially in the highlights. The color grading gives them a distinctly modern look, but the fidelity is noticeably lower, even for really high-budget stuff.
First glimpses of Costa Rican Wedding are in this Summer Nights promo. Premieres August 17. youtu.be/5z5z5lCkrj4?feature…
I'm sorry @dell, but it's absurd to tell me that my very expensive new monitor repeatedly crashing my mac via thunderbolt is "working as designed" just because it doesn't ALSO crash my PC over displayport.
@DellCares Thank you for offering to help. I did eventually solve the problem by disabling VRR in macos.
I decided a year ago that it was finally time to hire a professional accountant, ideally with entertainment experience. Well, 12 months later I've just let my third accountant go. In that time, I've hired 3 accountants, each of whom ghosted me. I'm just going back to turbotax.
Just watched the delivery guy essentially suplex a 6k monitor onto my concrete doorstep. Unsurprisingly, it does not work. Think the video doorbell just paid for itself.

That time I was a high school quarterback, had my head ripped off by an alien dinosaur, and Rowdy Roddy Piper was a priest who avenged my death.
I wonder if this film still holds the record for the highest kill count in a horror film? 🤔
