I just couldn't stay invested in Wuthering Waves' meta or mechanics. By the time I stopped playing, it was frontloaded with DPSes, and little in the way of creative support/buff characters. ZZZ feels more intuitive and rewarding with the counter/tag system.

One of my favorite remakes. I miss Alyson Court as Claire. But beyond that, theere were enough surprises and awesome changes in there from the original that catch me off guard.

And Waddell left Demidov on the board. It'll go down as the worst draft pick in Jackets history.

I remember being gobsmacked on that draft night. GM malpractice personified, yet I had people telling me to give Waddell a chance. I do wish Cayden the best, but I doubt he even sniffs the league.

Which made me giddy when I realized that. I suppose it would be a spin-off to the storylines in SMT II (maybe), likely a chaos route.

I doubt Dean Evason would've played him. He'd likely have drowned on the fourth line with lumbering oafs like Zach Aston-Reese and forced to dump & chase with Chinakov.

This draft pick sums up every terrible intangible Waddell has as a GM. And we've been saying it for years. A team in desperate need of skill and passing prowess, and he pays a premium rate for a muscle car with a busted axel.
