🚨 Westchester New York Ballot Scanners Fail COUNTYWIDE After Late “Programming Change” “People are not happy.. and it’s not sitting well with a lot of people— it is not common.” Voting machines everywhere rejected paper ballots at polling places as soon as voting started. Officials initially blamed the thickness or size of the ballots, but later changed their story to say that the “real problem” was a programming mismatch. Voters were asked to fill out their paper ballots and place them in “designated orange emergency ballot bags” to be counted later. Chaos in Westchester County, NY, as ballot scanners rejected votes at up to 332 polling sites, potentially impacting around 250,000 ballots. NY State Board of Elections says it was a late programming update that never made it to most Election Day machines. Why are they updating machines on election day? They claim scanners rejected ballots they allegedly couldn't read. Emergency bags in use, officials insist every valid vote will still be counted. But, will there be any shenanigans or fraud that comes along with that, with the Republican surge seen around the country?
