Over 40 workers of the shuttered Moon Rabbit at the Intercontinental, operated by IHG, will get over $126K thanks to a @DCAttorneyGen settlement. Workers spoke up about the hotel’s failure to provide accurate, timely, & transparent tip policies. Now they’ll be compensated!

Many, if not all, Compass Coffee cafes are run by employees forced to work in poor conditions that hinders the quality of coffee. Our equipment is not routinely fixed or maintained! We ask our supporters to talk to management + baristas at all Compass Coffee locations!

Since announcing our campaign, we've filed 7 ULP charges against @bluebottleroast for retaliating against us by attempting to install cameras, cutting hours of baristas, unilaterally changing store operating hours, and writing up vocal union members for petty infractions!

The outcome of @CompassCoffeeU's elections yesterday are far from clear. While the union leads 22-0 in the unchallenged ballots, more than 100 ballots remain challenged. The NLRB will determine the eligibility of shift supervisors and scores of new hires. restaurantdive.com/news/comp…

Compass Coffee union vote mired in challenges

The union secured unanimous support among unchallenged voters, but the vast majority of ballots must be adjudicated by the NLRB.
