Dan Quayle is such a weirdly obscure figure in modern America. After serving as vice president in his 40s, he proceeded to more or less entirely abandon any political presence for the next three decades. These days you only ever see him at the occasional funeral. It's odd.

After North Carolina voters elected Democrat Justice Allison Riggs to keep her seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court, her Republican opponent is demanding that the court cancel lawfully cast ballots, overturn the election, and hand him a seat on the bench.

Today, I am testifying vs HB 289 a bill that, among other things, requires homeless people with sex offenses to report a “detailed description” of where they will stay/live for the next 30 days. Of course, this ignores the realities of homelessness & sets them up for failure.
