Not the *biggest* problem in college football, but telling 10 Big Ten fanbases they have to wait until six days before a game to know whether it's a noon, afternoon or night game is still ridiculous.
The Big Ten gets a pro-level paycheck, but no pro sports league does this.

“Maybe the greatest thing that I’ve ever seen in my coaching career ... that’s what coaching is about.”
It’s not about down and distance. It’s not about field position. It’s about the clock. And if you trust your defense, and if your opponent has a shitty kicker, you Go. For. That. Every. Time.
Hindsight isn’t 20/20. It’s blinding.

Here's a 3 quick takes column (from afar) on Michigan State's 86-79 exhibition loss at Marquette on Sunday.
lansingstatejournal.com/stor…
MSU falls to Marquette, 86-79. Trailed by as much as 17 in the second half.
Jasiah Jervis and Jordan Scott combined for 37 points and shot a combined 7-for-13 from 3. Rest of the team went 1-for-12. Fears had 12 of his 18 points at the foul line.
Next up: QPac, Nov. 2.
Correction: MSU was shooting 4-for-18 from the floor with 7:59 to play in the 1st half, but out comes a crew to adjust a crooked backboard — except it wasn’t the one MSU is shooting on.
Next shot by Jasiah Jervis off McCulloch’s missed 1-and-1 is a made 3.
Not at the exhibition in Milwaukee, but looks like a new starting lineup for MSU in the final exhibition per StatBroadcast.
