🚨BREAKING: HMOs in West Midlands are linked to 35% of local murders.
• A BirminghamLive investigation found that 35 per cent of homicides recorded by West Midlands Police in the last two years, most of them in Birmingham, took place in or involved residents of supported exempt accommodation and HMOs.
• That amounts to 56 out of 151 murders across the force area over the period.
• Birmingham is the national hotspot for the state-funded exempt sector, with more than 13,000 properties housing 34,000 people, most of whom have no local connection to the city.
• Claims of more than £400 a week per person are paid by the Department for Work and Pensions, and the sector is now worth £450 million a year in the city.
• One example showed the government paying £6,400 a month for four people in a terraced house that would normally rent for around £1,200.

My thoughts are with Charlie Latchford. This is awful but now part of a pattern - every underhanded media ploy to paint the party as evil makes these dangers worse.
Unsurprisingly the mainstream media doesn’t seem to want to cover this vile incident.
🚨 BREAKING: Birmingham Reform UK councillor was sent suspected asbestos package in the post.
• Dr Charlie Latchford, the Reform UK councillor for Longbridge and West Heath, reported receiving a package containing suspected asbestos on Thursday.
• He said the material was deliberately packaged in a way that would cause maximum exposure to whoever opened it.
• Police and fire crews attended the scene, after which Latchford was stripped, isolated outside and his road was quarantined.
• The councillor stated that the package will be traced and that no political or personal disagreement justifies putting someone’s health or life at risk.
• West Midlands Police treated the incident under Operation Ford and an ambulance was arranged.

This is totally dishonest journalism. I make it clear that I am opposed to the surrender of sovereignty to Mauritius. I would offer the use of Diego Garcia to the USA in perpetuity. In return I would want America to go quiet on the Falklands.
No one has fought harder to save the Chagos Islands from being given away than I have, unlike the Tories and Labour trying to give them away. I have even helped repopulate the islands with Chagossians.

I took 92-year-old Ron back to the streets where he grew up in Tottenham for the first time in 56 years.
When he was a boy it was ~99% white British. In 2021, it was just 23.2%.
On the way home, he told me I had given him nightmares for the rest of his life.
