My heart goes out to the Jewish community in Britain after the horrific attack on two innocent Jewish men in Golders Green. No one should live in fear simply for being Jewish. Antisemitism has no place in any society.
@ShropCouncil have applied to the government to rise #counciltax by 8.99%. There will be no referendum for the locals on this as would be the norm if it were to go above 5%
The capped limit is 5% but they’re allowed to apply to the gov for dispensation to rise it above that.
Today we remember and light candles for the victims of the Holocaust. We must never forget.
