Endorsement alert: Paula Swedeen's dedicated work to habitat conservation is inspiring. Her policy work on climate-smart timber management (and much, much more) is what can lead us to a future of forest management that leaves nobody behind.

Creepy creatures or forest friends? 🌲🦉👻 Old-growth forests may be creepy, but they are a key part of the water and carbon cycle and provide vital wildlife habitat. Some of the organisms that live under logs or hide in holes in trees are misunderstood. ow.ly/pIhN50Q0LP9

A great piece from @NWF's Andrew Black about the importance of managing #FutureForests so they remain resilient in the face of climate impacts. A hunting trip in #BearsEars was a reminder of the interconnectedness of the land, water, wildlife and people. buff.ly/3LepjvI

If you’re in Colville this weekend visit us at the NE WA Fair! We’ll have the hunter pink chronic wasting disease trailer. WDFW teamed up with @Backcountry_H_A, who helped pay for 100 multi-season deer tags. Hunters who have animals tested for CWD go into a drawing for tags.
