Helping families make the most informed decisions often means building state capacity to communicate how policies affect individuals as well as social goals people care about.
AI is going to make government much more efficient at allocating resources/services. However the gap between policy complexity and public understanding is increasing and is limiting meaningful citizen participation and accountability.
Without tools for transparency, public misperceptions can derail otherwise successful reforms and policies. We need to figure this out
