As expected, all NBH wells went orphaned today
Any operator can take them over, but ofc that wont happen given there was never any economic oil or gas

There is a talking point, repeated endlessly, that the stock market is the economy. It is delivered with the most confidence by the people who have checked it the least (US politicians/presidents).
So let's check. The top 10% of American households own 87.4% of all corporate equities and mutual fund shares. The bottom 90% own 12.5%. That is not a distribution. That is a rounding error with 300 million people attached to it.
It has been getting worse in plain sight. In 2002 the bottom 90% owned 22%. Today, 12.5%. Their share has nearly halved while the market did nothing but compound. Over that same stretch, the people insisting the market is the economy grew more confident, not less.
So when a politician tells you stocks are up, therefore the economy is fine, he is reporting the portfolio returns of roughly one household in ten and calling it a country. It is the macroeconomic equivalent of taking the temperature of the pool by holding the thermometer in the hot tub.
The Federal Reserve publishes this quarterly. It is free. It takes ninety seconds. Nobody is hiding the ball. They simply aren't looking at it.

Insurance science project $LMND still losing money after eleven years despite a 61% Net Loss Ratio. Oh, and the CFO leaving (but will remain on Board).

Some more great news out of $PCT today. At risk of beating a dead horse, $PCT only company who can make this, consumers want the product and regulatory overlay is forcing action. It took three years to get this partnership done, these things take time. But once they are done, they are customers for a looooong loooooong time and only grow.
Big step for sustainable packaging! Following trials and successful pilot runs, PureCycle + @mitsuiandco + RM TOHCELLO are partnering to bring recycled PP into BOPP film. We're targeting a commercial agreement in 2027.

Wish we had more leaders like Andrew Jackson.👇👇
July 10, 1832. President Andrew Jackson picked one of the biggest fights of his life and vetoed the bill to renew the Bank of the United States, the closest thing the country had to a national bank.
Jackson hated that bank with a passion. He saw it as a monster run by a small circle of wealthy insiders who used public money to enrich themselves, and he was not shy about saying so. His veto message basically declared war on the whole institution.
This lit off what people called the Bank War. Jackson pulled federal money out and scattered it into state banks his critics nicknamed pet banks. It became one of the defining battles over how much power the government and big finance should have.
The fallout was massive and messy, and many historians tie it straight to the brutal financial panic that hit a few years later. Love him or hate him, Jackson put this fight right on the front of the twenty dollar bill of American arguments, where it basically still lives.

Everyone is talking about how it’s $10,000 to get into MSG for the NBA Finals. Not enough people are talking about how the Knicks publicly traded stock has outperformed pretty much everything outside of AI over the last year.
Yet another CEO who went off the rails threatening critics and short sellers, even picked a fight with @BagholderQuotes has been arrested for fraud

If you are short $PCT, and over 50% of the float of this company is shorted, you are now short:
1) the only company in the world that can produce FDA approved virgin quality rPP
2) with a growing regulatory mandate (EIGHT states today have laws requiring rPP)
3) the sole supplier to $SBUX $MC $CAG $PG $MARS and many many more Fortune 500s.
4) that in 3 years will become the LOW COST PRODUCER in the entire PP space.
This is the ball game folks. If you want to wait for the warrants to be called and your balance sheet short to officially be over that works too.
$PCT will be F500 company one day - today is a VERY important day.

Ryan Cohen's interview on @cnbc this morning was equal parts painful, hilarious, and predictable. $GME's proposed acquisition of $EBAY is a transaction that Charlie Munger would love. Show me the incentives, I'll show you the outcome.
Here's Ryan Cohen's incentive package. 171MM shares of $GME potentially issued to him based on the achievement of various MARKET CAP and EBITDA thresholds. Dilution is not his concern in the least. It's a feature of the compensation plan, not a bug.
Happy $VIRT ATH to all who celebrate as well as thanks so much to the: “Apes,” securities fraudsters, penny stock promoters, paid shills, Pakistani-British money launderers, and fired Knight Capital employees who complained about it at $17.
Cheers!
