Not only are homicides a big concern, but we need to also check people's mental health when obtaining guns. Suicide is never the answer, and the abundance of guns in the US makes it all too easy. They deserve proper help and care instead of a firearm! #portergov18

The US has some of the most lenient gun laws, resulting in more people owning personal firearms. These weapons only lead to unnecessary violence that cause people to lose their lives. It's almost a routine for the US to mourn another shooting, this needs to stop! #portergov18

Our gun control laws are obviously not strong enough. Without the proper actions, these numbers and statistics will continue to grow. This pointless violence could've been avoided, which is why we need to fix it now! #portergov18
