I am asleep by 10pm 250 days of the year, yet have a thriving social life.
Most of the party people are tourists or new arrivals or students.
The funniest thing about Miami is how people who don't live here think we're all obsessed with partying.
I got back into town Sunday, and the first thing I did was go see my cousin's baby and my niece.
Some of us would rather spend our time with family than at a club. And yes, we still love living in Miami.

Lots of VCs kindof sound like this: "Your basketball team doesn't have a moat, any healthy human can throw the ball into the basket thingy. "
People who have not run companies before don't understand how much the team matters more than some imagined structural moat.
This is good news:
In a Grade 3 Quad Injury (12-24wks) you usually can't bear weight on the limb.
Grade Two still typically involves sharp pain...
Totally speculation but I'd guess we're looking at 6-8wks.
Bukayo Saka walking gingerly through the mixed zone as he leaves the Allianz Arena tonight. 👋🏴

The game giveth and taketh. Saka out is a huge loss but maybe Eze finally gets his mojo (back)? ... or maybe he's just a European + cups player.
Either way, Arsenal will have a lot of space to run into with Bayern on the front foot. Gonna be fun!

Kvaratskhelia, Dembele and Marquinhos all limping off tonight. Imagine if they were required to play football on weekends. The physical demands on a premier league footballer are worlds apart

Next time you think you need to hire more people, consider this:
The Skunk Works was ~50 engineers and ~100 machinists.
They built the first supersonic fighter, the Blackbird, and the first stealth aircraft. The stealth prototypes flew 20 months after the contract was awarded.

Frosinone in 6th, Cagliari in 7th, Lecce in 12th, Monza winning tonight.
There have been some decent starts from sides expected to be in the bottom three.
We could see a really interesting relegation battle come the back end of the season.
Good firm, good people.
Why a $525B wealth manager put his headquarters in Miami:
“If you think about it with a totally clean slate, where do you want the headquarters for the business ultimately to be? I picked Miami.”
“I think we're still in the early days of what we'll see in South Florida.”
“We were by no means a pioneer of moving to Miami. But we were a little bit early relative to the flood of movement that’s happened on the back of us.”

This is the absolute key
I think the front office realized that landing a ceiling-raising attacker was going to be a lottery (+ particularly limited market) so decided Konsa & Bruno were the two floor-raising signings who could push the proverbial toothpaste up the tube (s/o @PoznanInMyPants) and they'd need to be prepared to go back in for a forward in January...and we're seeing that play out.
The points on the board combined with dry powder ready for January prove that strategy correct thus far!!
Replying to @HandofArsenal
I think we can discuss how to improve the attack until we're blue in the face, but when you have invested in midfield and defense to the degree we have, and failed to do so in attack, this is what you wind up with. A VERY good team with a limit on ceiling until we improve up front
Brighton won't be able to keep this up for 38 games but their coaching and talent level mean top four is a legitimate ambition, and it wouldn't shock me to see them face Monaco in the Conference League final!

The amazing thing about this quote is that it was written in the 60s (Dune was first published in 1965).

No matter how badly you want to avoid it, it's almost impossible to be incredibly successful without looking like an idiot for some period of time.

The only way to not have enemies in life is to make yourself insignificant and small.
Anyone looking to achieve greatness will necessarily accumulate foes on the journey.
