ATL leadership better confront Karl Smesko over his awful coaching, rotations and abandoning a winning offense and the league for letting the Valkyries hack their players without consequences. These Finals are becoming an absolute disgrace, and it’s starting to feel intentional.

Blatant body contact before the block is a foul. Touching the ball afterward doesn’t make it clean. The WNBA and commentators praising “elite” rim protection while ignoring obvious fouls is INSANE. Half those “blocks” are fouls normally, but not against the Dream, apparently.

Man, y’all expect Angel to overcome missed calls, biased officiating, overly physical play, AND THEE worst coach in the league. That shit directly impacts her confidence and performance. She can’t overcome everything. Stop blaming the player who gave the Dream a 2-1 lead smh.

Replays clearly show Dream players getting hacked, yet in-game and studio commentators refuse to acknowledge it. National broadcasts should be impartial, but the bias is blatant. They’re about to hype Kiah Stokes’ fouling ass to the Finals MVP award which would be a disgrace. 🫠

The refs did, in fact, go crazy after this. Thanks for wasting your challenge on the dumbest play possible, Karl! You could’ve used it on the VERY next play, but instead, your team was further demoralized, and you had no challenges left. Absolutely brilliant in-game management!!

Angel was central to the offense that built Atlanta’s 2-1 lead. Then, out of nowhere, Karl Smesko reduced her role in two straight losses. He let the guards take 50 shots while Angel, Naz and DB shot just 15. He abandoned what worked and is coaching this team out of a ring.

I’m appalled. Angel looks demoralized by the no-calls while getting hit with bullshit offensive fouls. I don’t blame her. Her coach also seems not to care, and I can only imagine how that feels. He’s abandoned the game plan that worked and is giving this championship away.
