Collins: But you said you didnât give anything for his release
Trump: If I didnât do that, you wouldnât have him coming back.
Collins: So you did give something.
Trump: You donât know anything. Youâre fake news CNN.
Collins: Youâre saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release?
Trump: You donât know what youâre talking about. Youâre a low IQ person. Youâre a dummy.

Russia has hit Kyiv, Ukraine, with at least 6 ballistic missiles within the last 30 minutes, targeting 3 million civilians and infrastructure, after meeting with Trump's lapdog Witkoff, who praised Putin as a humanitarian and saluted him on behalf of the rogue United States.

NEW!!! Senate Democratic aides who just returned from Ukraine told reporters on a call that Kushner and Witkoff did not even visit the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv during their recent trip, calling it a sign of how disconnected the U.S. negotiating team is from officials on the ground.

More pushback from GOP senators. A U.S. alliance with Putin remains deeply unpopular.

Americans actively dislike Russia, yet there's a very large percentage of political "influencers" that do nothing but try to push Russia as a potential friend and ally
Have you ever stopped to wonder why that is...because the answer is pretty obvious
Three important observations from the recent Pew poll:
1. Americans see Russia (-70%) more negatively than not only Saudi Arabia (-55%), but even China (-54%), universally considered to be the chief US adversary.
2. Americans' attitude towards UK (+54%) is less warm than to Italy (+59%) and even to Japan (+65%).
3. Trump's policies towards Canada (confrontation) and Russia (appeasement) are diametrically opposite ones compare to predominant attitudes of Americans towards these two countries(+63% and -70%, respectively).

Or as Trump said âRussia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraineâ
Baby Anhelina and her mom Inna were killed by Russia yesterday.
Anhelina was just over a year old. Her mom, Inna Mariukhna, was a primary school teacher. They were in the park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region, when a Russian drone attacked.
Little Anhelina was killed in her stroller. Her mom died of her injuries in hospital.
Another girl killed in the strike was just 11 years old.
Six people lost their lives from that Russian strike. All of them had simply been spending time in the park. At least 15 more were injured, including seven kids.
Deepest condolences...

Economic normalization requires the EU to lift its sanctions regime, and it is doing the opposite: passing more packages. Moreover, secondary sanctions relief assumes Congress is going to lift all CAATSA and Graham-codified sanctions (waivers only get you so far). As of 2025, Europe has been bearing almost the full financial burden to assist Ukraine across all sectors. Is it doing that just so Russia can benefit from the military and/or political domination of the country it invaded and so Trump, Putin and Xi can carve up the world into spheres of influence? Trumpâs diesel scheme benefits no one outside Moscow and Miami, but the real sunk cost losers for what heâs trying to do are 452 million people abroad. Who are being told to buy American or else.
Stories of a Trump âdealâ with Putin re Ukraine without đşđŚ involved may not be true (& a savvy Trump world strategist has denied the story). Even if true, it would run into powerful Congressional opposition:
