Contrary to @RomReddySC's false statements below, no one at FITSNews interviewed @RalphNorman's son - he submitted a guest column (an unsolicited one, at that) and we published it.
We also published a piece from congressman William Timmons (@RepTimmons) responding to the column Mr. Norman submitted.
We published these pieces because we believe in the marketplace of ideas - and because we love publishing different perspectives whether we agree with them or not. Mr. Reddy knows this, as we've published numerous columns from him - and will continue to do so even as he calls our founding editor @TheWillFolks "crooked."

On a side note about my recent travels…
There is a reason James Taylor wrote the song ‘Carolina In My Mind’.
I’ve seen some jaw dropping scenery on my adventures up north and out west. But there isn’t a more beautiful part of the country than the Carolinas. South Carolina is my home. From Beaufort to Travelers rest it is the best. That is something I will always stand by. And anytime I am gone for too long I start to miss it. It’s the only part of the country that makes me feel at home. She wraps me up like a naked baby in a blanket that needs warmth and she gives me that plus more.
