A brief write up on last weekends CGS show and our part in it. cornwallprofessionalgardener…
All staged and ready for judging,(labels pending!). Thanks to everyone who donated plant material. @CwllGardenSoc #gardens #Cornwall
2021 has seen a gentle return to CPGG get togethers with just the single Stihl event at Trewithen. However, we have bigger plans for 2022 so watch this space! Thank you @CwllGardenSoc for your continued support. #Gardens #Cornwall
A big thank you from @CornwallHorts to Cornwall Farm Machinery Ltd & @STIHL_GB for the demonstration morning yesterday & to @Trewithengarden for the tour of beautiful Trewithen after lunch. A great way to restart CPGG activities.
All set at Trewithen for the @STIHL_GB demo morning with Cornwall Farm Machinery Ltd. #Gardens
Getting ready for our first @CornwallHorts event since the pandemic started tomorrow - a Stihl demo morning at Trewithen. Hopefully this gentle start to things will be the beginning of a return to our usual program of events.
Places still available on our first event for almost 2 years! Stihl demonstration morning at Trewithen, Wed.22nd Sept. 9.30am to 12.30pm. Members should have received an email from Gary with more details. Those interested please respond ASAP.
Just a quick reminder to you all that this Sunday,(5th Sept) sees the Rare Plant Fair return to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance. A great opportunity to get your hands on some rare & unusual plants.
We many have lost 2021's spring show program but we can now begin planning for the show season for 2022! Dates are as follows; March 12th & 13th - Early Rosemoor show. 19th & 20th Trelissick daffodil show. 26th & 27th Falmouth Show. April 2nd & 3rd Cornwall Garden Society show.
Lots of people are struggling at times like these.
If you don't like the idea of 'accepting charity' consider things like this an investment in you that you could pay forward once you're back on your feet... Don't, however, think you have to suffer alone.
Intriguing, and of course excellent news for one of the county's best-known horticultural collections!
We will wait patiently for that announcement!
