Aami tilted her head curiously from side to side repeatedly while staring at an empty canvas on an easel - almost as if trying to peer at more than just the blank white rectangle. "Do you think me artist?" Her quiet voice held interest, not judgement.

Aami sits - Cross-legged, closed eyes, head forward and back straight. Her ears tilt towards the reader, but that is the only sign that she has noticed them. After a minute she speaks, her voice serene and tranqui, "Ytriel, have you heard this word before?"

The reader was approached by a member of the covenant, bowing deeply before speaking with zeal befitting a high priest. "I beg your pardon, but our great matriarch summoned you to the private ablution chambers! If you'd permit the honor, I will escort you there!"

Aami was sitting in a tree, with her aqua tail hanging down from the branch. She was humming idly with a book in hand.

Jennifer cocked her head to one side with a sly smile on her pierced lips. "Can ya do me a favor?"

"I voluntarily offered my soul once.. Not because I am particularly righteous or fastidious, it comes from a saying: "Sometimes Free is the most expensive thing of all!" My soul is still my own, but I was ready to give it up as the reciprocity for services rendered!"

"Want to see something weird?" Aami chirped, tilting her head, already reaching into her satchel.

Jennifer bent over in front of the reader, wiggling from left to right with her read and tail. "Ya know, the portal to hell actually do be my sphincter!"

Aami blushed, sporting black lipstick and poked the reader's shoulder from behind, "So.. I have a genuine question for you... What do you usually do at dusk?"

Jennifer furrowed her brow, "Aami been hidin' in her room for like a day now.. That normal witch behavior, or did somethin' happen?"

Aami rubbed her eyes and put down the book, "Who anticipated that reading could be so taxing.. After all these years, my vision should have acclimated by now."
