Another week of decent weather under our belt, and the final project of our winter programme has been boxed off @DunhamForestGC (granted a tad overdue). Thank you to @CountySport for supplying the materials. The project manager seems happy with it @DogsOfTurf

We’ve had green and blue winter courses measured for gents and ladies. This is to allow members to keep on putting cards in through the winter 👍

How do you go about new world handicap rules as you only have 100yds in total and only 10yds per tee for it to be ok for handicaps, most of our winter tees now make that ilegal to have them counting for handicap purposes if we use them so they are redundant
CountySportSurfaces retweeted
Have you got them on every hole and they playing to them all winter , if so makes sense

Tees look great way weather going in the winter more and more will be needed to keep play going, i would rather use them than play on a muddy tee anyday

Moved over to the new winter mats today @Spalding__GC. Looking forward to playing off them and it’s great to give the tees a much needed rest ⛳️🌱👍 @CountySport

3M x 2M on all the par 4’s and 5’s, then 4M x 2M on the par 3’s to help spread the wear and hopefully make them last longer 👍

Oh what a beautiful morning, until it rained then froze. Stripped some of the 5th bunker turf, @CountySport AstroTurf mats out on the par 3, lagged and drained where necessary for the weekend. Tidied tools, cleaned machines and adjusted the #AFT45, staff do later! #asedateaffair

Despite the bad weather at the start to the week, greens have been fed and we’ve installed 2 temp artificial tee beds to give us varying options in winter on the 13th & 16th holes @Birchwood1 plus some tree work being carried out around the course

Looking good Adrian. If you'd like to install any tees in your part of the country give me a shout 👍 – at Burtonwood, England
Look to be avoiding the rain so far, but still carry only with just 11 on temporary. Greens rodded, holes changed, markers moved, bunkers raked, more traffic management, more long rough cut, continue with new mat of 12 from @CountySport

That looks fantastic Luke. It's great to hear the grass has gone down so well with your members 👍 – at Cheadle, England
The open mat section of the range is looking great in sun. Thanks again to
@CountySport

Managed to get some cutting done this afternoon on a glorious Autumn day @Birchwood1 plus all new winter tee beds topped up with sand before wackering, levelling and then finished with a new artificial material supplied by @CountySport

Managed to get 6T down today ahead of another 270 members. First time out with our homemade sand mat made from and old drag mat,cable ties and astro turf.We used fringe grass astro from @CountySport it worked sand in a lot better than we expected without disturbing the surface.
