Very keen to welcome everyone to countryside & into agritourism businesses. However, Members reporting some customers being abusive to staff regarding Covid guidelines. Abandoning cars in areas not designed for parking, blocking safety access. Being respectful is essential.

We need to look at how we can get countryside rangers back into our beautiful countryside, not only to help control irresponsible camping and littering but also add value to the many visitors who love Dumfries and Galloway.

If you want to keep the food on the shelves to the highest standard whilst supporting British farmers then please take a minute and sign this petition cheers
#WOW 😍 Three quarters of a million people have signed our food standards petition! If you're reading this for the first time and don't want to see 🇬🇧 farmers undermined by food imports that would be illegal to produce here, join 750,000 people like you ow.ly/v4pz50A0Mrh

A reminder that Police Scotland now have powers to stop and potentially fine people they find are away from their homes for no valid reason. Too many folk driving to the hills for a walk, or to buy a few plants for the garden, meeting up with mates in the park. #StayHomeStaySafe

For those moaning about the lack of pasta and rice available why not get a bag of good old spuds? Great value for money, packed with nutrition, extremely versatile and more importantly produced locally @NFUtweets @NFUStweets

Today's debate led my colleague @mgoldenmsp was a chance to highlight how our agricultural industry is positively tackling climate change.
The recent attacks on the industry have been ill-informed and moving forward the debate needs to be more balanced.

Sometimes the daily grind of life gets so busy with work, family, friends + children that we don't make time for ourselves and often end up feel #exhausted! Take time today to really open up and talk to someone. Ask someone how their day has gone and really listen! #TimeToTalk
