NEW, ONLY ON CRIME WATCH: (paranoid psychotic - IMO) Thomas Wayne Evenstad, 60, has been arrested for probable cause harassment and is in custody. Evenstad is a convicted rapist and multi-time convicted stalker who has been lashing out with psychotic and paranoid rants at elected people, candidates, and private citizens, including Crime Watch, for months on social media and at events. Several people have recently obtained restraining orders against Evenstad, and he's been barred/trespassed from attending GOP events. Evenstad paid the fee to "run for governor" 🙄 and is under a severe delusion that he is going to win in 2026. We're digging into the details of the arrest and will update when new info is available. 2/ Morning massive blaze in NE Minneapolis at 15th and Central Ave NE.

From Edina PD: Around 12:15 p.m., Friday, April 11, Edina Detectives were investigating a group of suspects for theft from vehicles. They found two 18-year-olds using stolen credit cards at a business in the 5000 block of Vernon Ave. S. Both were arrested without incident and taken into custody. This investigation is ongoing; no further information is available. * VALENTINO JOHN GAUDALUPE SALINAS-AVERY, 18 and NASZIR ZAIVION JUSTICE GRESHAM, 18 are being held on PC felony financial card fraud.

Parents-of-the-year Matthew James Roberts (stepfather), 35, and Rebecca Marie Roberts, 34, of Crystal have each been charged with two counts of malicious punishment of a child. Matthew has also been charged with several other felonies, including two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and two counts of domestic assault. Charges say their two children (about 7 and 8) were beaten with hockey sticks, a bat, and a metal pipe, among other physical abuses. The parents locked the refrigerator and cabinets and restricted the children's access to food and the bathroom. The children were also made to sleep on the floor with no blankets or pillows. The children were forced to do planks, wall sits, and were made to stare at the wall. Charges say that Matthew was the main aggressor but Rebecca also abused them and watched the abuse on camera and did nothing. The abuse came to light when one of the children confided to school staff after not being able to put shoes on because her feet had been beaten with hockey sticks and poles by Matthew. A police search of the home located several guns and ammunition, and locks on rooms and cabinets. Matthew is prohibited from possessing guns due to at least two prior violent crime convictions on 2nd degree assault. Matthew remains in custody on a bail amount of $200,000, Rebecca posted $30,000 and was released from custody earlier this week.

St. Paul - SHOOTING. Person shot in the stomach was in a vehicle. Police applied chest seals. Police said a possible drive-by, casings were near the vehicle. 10xx Hudson Rd, near Earl Person shot said they walked out of the St. Paul Saloon and was shot. There was also a handgun in the vehicle of the person shot. 23:10

Coon Rapids - Police are on site of what sounds like a domestic shooting. One male is reported down and appears "DOA." A child was apparently extracted from the home. Started about 12:30 p.m.

Coon Rapids has a perimeter search for several young BM who fled from a stolen vehicle near Spring House Apts and surrounding area down to Hwy 47 and 91st. Fled from a vehicle with a TX plate. At least one is in custody. K9 arriving to the area. 22:20
