Watch them make a re-release to include her in 2 or 3 years. I swear... to me it just feels like they're lying just like when they said "we wanted a faithful recreation of base P3" as to why The Answer wasn't there even tho dataminers found code of the DLC in the game...

The original singer of P2 Innocent Sin’s ending theme “Kimi no Tonari”, hitomi, is coming back for the Persona series after 28 years in the Persona Super Live 2027!!!
Bro... I really dislike takes like these. One thing is liking one direction more than the other but straight up saying stuff like the original VAs didn't give a shit is just fucking absurd.
Have you noticed how every time there's a new remake, the og game, that masterpiece, that timeless classic, suddenly becomes a flawed product of its time that NEEDS to be fixed, and every "controversial" decision the original made was actually just a hardware limitation?
I swear this makes it like 30 times I've seen this post with these exact words done by multiple checkmarks. I know it's to profit, but goddamn, at least make your bots somewhat original.
It's not a bad game by any means but the small issues do pile up and it becomes big when it comes to direction like cutscenes and dialogue due to it following P3P's script and dungeon layouts. There are some gameplay issues like balancing too, small on their own but they pile up.
One odd thing about Reload is that since it’s adapting the male route of P3P, if something isn’t explicitly stated in portable’s script, then it doesn’t happen. It makes a lot of scenes feel really flat in comparison, and it’s why everyone seems so sedentary in Reload
Replying to @Strain42
Like here's a very simple example to me. In FES, Makoto and Junpei got drinks and sat down while Yukari is standing around anxiously. Without any dialogue, this shows a lot into their characters and thought processes
In Reload, they're just...all standing there and doing nothing
Another person missing the point. It's fine to modernize the gameplay and exploration, but the problem a lot of people have is the art direction and the style the remakes, sans P4R, are using which is far from the original's style and just borrows the art direction of another.

Why are people crashing out about p1/2 fans having criticisms, feedback, hopes for remakes of their favorite games? It's so weird to chastise people who are ignored by modern persona for wanting their favorite games to retain qualities that made them fall in love with the games.

Am I the only one who finds it a little bizarre that half the people mocking P1 fans for wanting a remake to feel like the original are claiming that P1 fans must hate Persona while in the same breath insisting that the original games were irredeemably bad?
