๐บ๐ฌ The #UgandaCup2026 is now the only @UgandaRugby competition blending Premiership heavyweights and ambitious regional clubs. It is also Ugandaโs sole menโs qualifying pathway to the East African Enterprise Cup.
The 2026 edition runs from mid-Oct to late Nov, with just a one-week break before the final. This year also returns the single-elimination knockout format

@KIUCrows are lining up their own Alumni vs New Players (Baby Crows) friendly this Saturday, 10th Oct
Itโs a proper internal matchup aimed at strengthening the squad as they prepare for #UgandaCup2026
๐บ๐ฌ @KyambogoRugby Heritage Weekend 2026
Aka the annual Alumni Rugby event, it takes place this Friday at the Kyambogo Cricket Oval.
A homecoming-style weekend celebrating the clubโs history, bringing together current players, alumni and supporters at the university grounds.
The Alumni have had the upper hand in recent years, winning the head-to-head in at least 2019 and 2025. The studentsโ last confirmed Shield win came in 2017.
Kyambogo isnโt alone. @ucu_sports held a similar Alumni vs Students match in Nov 2024, with the Alumni team, the Ex-Shepherds, beating the then-student Shepherds 8โ3.
This weekend, we are blending rookies with the millennials and purposing to ensure continuity of the momentum at the club.
The Baby Crows will take on their seniors at Kizinda main stadium
According to what's in the WhatsApp groups, I promise you wouldn't want to miss ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ
