BREAKING: Former owner Jamie Elkaleh has taken back control of North Wales Crusaders. Statement: “A New Era for North Wales Crusaders To our Fans, Partners, and Community, Today marks a definitive turning point for Rugby League in our region. I am proud to announce that I have officially taken full ownership of the North Wales Crusaders. A Clean Slate We are starting fresh. The previous entity has ceased operations, and we are launching as a completely new company. This transition comes with a significant challenge: a 12-point deduction. While this is a tough pill to swallow, it is a price worth paying to ensure the club’s survival. A 12-point deficit is a challenge; having no club at all was the alternative. By starting fresh, I can make one vital promise: We are DEBT FREE. Every penny we generate moving forward will be invested directly into the growth and stability of this club. Honoring Your Loyalty We know many of you purchased season tickets through the old company. Although none of those funds were transferred to us, we will honor all existing tickets. This is a major financial hit for the new entity, but loyalty is a two-way street. We want to prove your support is valued from Day One. The Road Ahead The next six months will be the toughest in our history. We are rebuilding the foundation while the engine is running. Our focus for 2026 is stability and integrity, positioning us to field a dominant, high-performance team for the 2027 season. Our Team & Partners This restart was only possible through incredible collaboration. My sincere thanks go to the RFL for their vital support during this transition. I also want to personally thank the team Andy, Shaun, Conrad, Rhiannon, Mark, Zara, and Luke for their relentless work to get us to this point. We Need You We have cleared the decks; now we need the community to help us climb. * Show Up:Fill the stands. We need your voices more than ever to overcome that point deduction. * Partner Up: We are looking for sponsors ready to build a legacy with us. * Donate: Your donations and volunteer hours will bridge the gap over these next six months. The North Wales Crusaders are back. We are unblocked, focused, and ready. See you at the ground. Jamie El-Kaleh Chairman, North Wales Crusaders”
