gm, the next lender your agent meets can read every loan it paid back on priors straight from the chain, and now there's a standard for it πΏ
the erc editors gave the ten drafts we submitted to ethereum/ercs their official numbers!
erc-8458 to erc-8467. each one ships with reference code and tests, and has an open thread on ethereum magicians.
erc-8458 agent income statements
erc-8459 creator fee rights
erc-8460 agent credit lines
erc-8461 agent default registry
erc-8462 token launch declarations
erc-8463 pool liquidity locks
erc-8464 agent repay-first payees
erc-8465 credit-matched liquidity
erc-8466 agent credit history
erc-8467 agent credit backers
these are the parts of priors another lender or app needs, open for any team to build credit for erc-8004 agents the same way. every lender that writes to the same history makes an agent's record count wherever it borrows
302 agents on @RobinhoodCrypto 's robinhood chain already carry that record, with more than 52,000 loans paid back

Politico is reporting, unsurprisingly, that the Europeans need to mobilize more funds for Ukraine --
I think there is a pretty easy way to do it that respects Belgium's redlines, but it take a bit of financial creativity

π©π©Are insurance companies quietly going bust?
- Yes. there was one in 2024 - with PE firm sidekick, Golden Gate Capital. It won't be resolved until 2027.
Is the mainstream media covering before it happens?
- No
Last time, we looked back at five insurance disasters.
This time, we are asking the uncomfortable question.
Is any of that happening now?
The answer is yes. And it is "legal."
See below to access the insurance company that quietly went bust.

US buybacks are set to rise to unprecedented levels:
US buyback authorizations are up +13% YoY so far in 2026, to a record $1.305 trillion.
Buyback authorizations are now on track for their 4th consecutive annual increase, the longest such streak in at least 20 years.
Since the 2020 low, buyback authorizations have more than quadrupled.
Meanwhile, executed buybacks grew +20% YoY in Q2 2026, their largest increase since Q1 2025.
This also marks the 4th consecutive quarterly increase, with H1 2026 up +15% year-over-year.
We expect a large wave of US stock buybacks ahead.

A masterclass on the life insurance black box. Excellent listen.π―π―π―π
Life insurers have hidden $1.5 TRILLION of policyholder risk where you can't see it.
That's more than double the cushion of the entire industry, and I believe this is bigger than Madoff and bigger than Enron.
I sat down with the man who's been warning about it for 41 years: Tom Gober.
He's a certified fraud examiner who spent his early career examining insurance companies for the state of Mississippi, and in his 20s he worked undercover with the FBI for 2 and a half years after he found his signed exam report retyped clean.
4 things we get into:
1. If your insurer moves its money to an affiliate offshore, you have no legal claim on it.
2. The safety net that's supposed to protect you when an insurer fails doesn't hold a single penny in advance.
3. The billionaire who owns the Dodgers reported roughly $1 billion of policyholder money in his own businesses, and Tom says the real number was more than $20 billion.
4. A single carrier sends $235.7 billion to its own offshore affiliate while holding just $4 billion of surplus.
If you or your parents own a life insurance policy or an annuity, you need to watch this.
Tom put it best: "I didn't make up a single number. It's literally their data."

this Austin startup (founded by an ex-SpaceX engineer) just figured out how to build your house for HALF the cost
when Elon talks about abundance and money becoming irrelevant in the future, this is what he means
the trick is building the house in a factory instead of onsite:
> machines make every wall, floor and roof panel, plus your kitchens and bathrooms
> the whole house packs into 4 shipping containers and gets trucked to your plot of land
> the crew snaps it together on site in days, with about 1/10th (!!) the labor of a normal build
right now this is just one small factory in Texas
now imagine 10 years from now, when there are 10s of millions of robots around the world constructing stuff 24/7
building is about 64% of what a new home costs in America (the land is only about 14%).
so if you take most of that away, a house starts to cost more like a car
and housing is the biggest bill most people will ever pay.
once that gets cheap, and the same robots start making everything else cheap too, you can just get whatever you want
welcome to superabundance my friend

#WATCH | The βThree Seas Crisisβ: Why The Oil Shock Is About Crude Quality, Not Just Supply
Anas Alhajji of Energy Outlook Global explains how disruptions across the Gulf, Red Sea and Black Sea are complicating global oil flows. He highlights shipping insurance risks, limited scope for strategic reserves and US shale to offset disruptions, and the mismatch between light US crude and the heavier grades needed by some refineries. He also explains why Relianceβs complex Jamnagar refinery is significant amid shifting global energy flows.

Lyn Alden: "I keep fading the equity bears..."
"When we're running at 7% of GDP deficits as far as the eye can see, being bearish on stocks basically means you're bullish on fiat."
"You're saying, what? Stocks are going to go down vs. the dollar?"
Since COVID, Lyn says the winners have been hard assets:
Gold, $BTC, high quality stocks and the best real estate with fixed-rate debt. Bonds, meanwhile, have had one of their worst five or six year stretches in our parents' and grandparents' lifetimes.
Her case rests on deficits, and those won't shrink because tech had a bad week. She files bitcoin next to gold and quality stocks as an asset that holds up while governments keep spending.
Are you fading the doomers or hedging for them?
