Imagine the internet had a giant public notebook where anyone could write down an idea, prediction, research finding, or AI output, and anyone else could say, "Yep, I agree with that." The notebook can't censor anyone, can't decide who's right, and can't force anything to happen. It just creates a permanent, tamper-proof record of what the world collectively thought at any moment in time.
That's Compute Substrate - $CSD
It's essentially building a decentralized "memory layer" for intelligence. Instead of relying on a single company, government, or AI model to tell you what's true, the network records what thousands of independent participants believe and lets anyone read the aggregated signal.
Think of it as:
Bitcoin decentralized money.
Ethereum decentralized computation.
Compute Substrate decentralizes coordination and shared knowledge.
The applications are huge. AI agents could compare outputs without trusting one another. Researchers could crowd-rank scientific discoveries. Markets could surface the strongest predictions. I talked about this industry needing to die & be reborn with diff/new systems, it’s the only way we progress, or it will die completely, you can feel it.
